STD is a metal band from Dallas, Texas that formed in spring of 2005. Inspired by the underground metal scene, as well as old school metal and punk, we write and perform songs with a unique sound and fury we call simply Devil music. Lyrics are an important part of the band, and we draw inspiration from the classical world, de Sade, Lovecraft, Poe, Baudelaire, Barker, Ketchum, and historical events from around the world. DIY (Devil It Yourself) in attitude, we have released three full length albums and 2 EPs under our own imprint All Devils Music, toured extensively, been played on terrestrial radio all over the world, been on several renowned podcasts, created our own music videos, and book and promote shows for other touring bands as well. We also play and record with our related side project ACOUSTIC DEVIL, bringing manic energy to a new genre we call Acoustic Metal. New songs, new videos, and new shows are in the works.
